Two generators, one charger
Outline design of the Bluebox-220 uses a Napier NT1-10A turbocharger coupled with two Bowman Power 110 kW ETC-1000 turbogenerators. Power is fed to two 120 kWe Mk5 inverters — latest-generation Bowman electronics.
Thermodynamic simulation is complete. Turbomachinery and power electronics are selected. Mechanical design covers the supporting structure, integration air pipework, lubrication and cooling subsystems, and the control architecture.
